Itinerary

Arrive at Paro International Airport, one of the world’s most scenic airports. After completing immigration and customs formalities, meet your licensed Bhutanese guide and driver.
Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Thimphu (2,286 m), Bhutan’s charming capital city, passing river valleys, traditional villages, and prayer flags along the way.

Discover Bhutan’s rich artistic and cultural heritage with visits to:

  • National Library of Bhutan – Home to ancient Buddhist manuscripts and sacred texts

Drive to Punakha via the stunning Dochula Pass (3,100 m / 10,500 ft). On clear days, enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks and the iconic 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.
Continue through lush forests and river valleys to reach Punakha, Bhutan’s former capital.

After breakfast, drive towards Nezergang and enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour hike through rice fields and forests to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten.
Built by Her Majesty Queen Mother Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck in 1999, this magnificent chorten was constructed for the protection of Bhutan and universal peace, offering breathtaking views of the Punakha Valley.

Drive back to Paro, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful valleys. Upon arrival, visit:
