Arrive at Paro International Airport, where the dedicated HBT team welcomes you with a traditional Tashi Khaddar. After completing immigration formalities, begin a scenic drive to Thimphu, following the Paro River through picturesque villages such as Bondey, Shaba, and Isina.
En route, stop at Tachogang Lhakhang, an ancient iron-chain temple, for a short walk or photo stop depending on arrival time. Continue to Chuzom, the confluence of the Paro and Thimphu rivers and a key highway junction, where a striking portrait of Bhutan’s King and Queen greets visitors.
Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel and enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with a complimentary cake and local Bhutanese wine.

Discover Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital and cultural hub, known as the only city in the world without traffic lights. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the majestic Buddha Dordenma Statue, a 51.5-meter-tall bronze statue overlooking the Thimphu Valley from Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park.
Continue to the Takin Preserve Center, home to Bhutan’s unique national animal and its fascinating origin story. Later, drive to Sangaygang Viewpoint (2,685 m) for panoramic views of the entire Thimphu Valley.
In the afternoon, explore Thimphu city at your own pace—browse handicraft shops, local souvenir stores, and imported garment outlets, or relax at one of the city’s cafés.

After breakfast, drive back to Paro, retracing the scenic route through Chuzom. Stop at Tachogang to hoist prayer flags and offer prayers for peace and happiness.

Explore Rinpung Dzong, the iconic “Fortress on a Heap of Jewels,” built in 1644 and serving as the administrative and religious center of Paro. Visit the National Museum of Paro, housed in a former watchtower, showcasing Bhutan’s rich history and heritage.
Stroll through Paro town, known for authentic handicrafts, Bhutan-made products, and cozy restaurants. Later, enjoy complimentary outdoor cultural activities such as wearing traditional Bhutanese attire, archery, and darts at an TTB-operated center.

Explore the scenic Paro Valley, surrounded by fertile rice fields and historic landmarks. Embark on a memorable hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic religious site, dramatically perched 900 meters above the valley floor. The hike is taken at a comfortable pace, with most travelers spending the full day enjoying the journey and views.
Later, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, built in the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. Light butter lamps and offer prayers for happiness and harmony.
